DAY to Day Program
Day 1: Arrival – Tarangire National Park
Your adventure begins upon arrival in Arusha, where you will be warmly welcomed by our safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its giant baobabs, large elephant populations, and diverse wildlife. Enjoy an afternoon game drive through this picturesque park.
Overnight: Lodge or Camp inside or near Tarangire National Park

- Enjoy a thrilling game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, and lions.
- Picnic lunch inside the park with views of the Tarangire River, a magnet for wildlife during the dry season.

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire – Drive to Karatu
After breakfast, spend the day exploring more of Tarangire’s vast savannahs, seasonal swamps, and riverine forests. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 bird species. In the late afternoon, proceed to the charming highlands of Karatu, located on the outskirts of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

- Descend 600 meters into the crater for a game drive on the crater floor, a haven for wildlife.

The crater floor is home to the Big Five, rare black rhinos, and a stunning array of animals living in harmony. Enjoy a full day game drive with a picnic lunch, then return to Karatu for the night.
